this morning, i woke to a {gorgeous} sliver of moon low on the horizon, with venus shining diamond-shaped above it. needless to say, my 1st thought was i have to get a shot of that. however, it was something crazy like 18 degrees and insanely windy - by the time i had some coffee and got myself ready, it was all clouded over. note to self: that was dumb.
i finally settled on this shot. it's residue from an art journal i'm working on. i like the photo more than i like the page i made in the journal. my little daughter also did some with me, going absolutely bonkers with the glue stick! it was fun. she's hanging it on the wall as i type...
