90/365 - i heart toys

this exhibit was an great way to introduce CAM to kids. they got to watch their own little gyro tops be manufactured. i think this was my favorite exhibit in the whole place. i nearly died when the robot arm waved at us. it shows you the toy when it is done, and in the package. it was hysterical. especially since in the back of my mind i am always thinking oh sure you are waving now but one day you will want to rip out human guts... yes i've watched too many terminator series / movies...

87/365 - intense conversation was going on

was i @ the beach? no, i was not. yet here they were.
this guy had a pal who he was discussing something *very* important with while dive-bombing scraps in the parking lot.
then they both sat on two opposite light poles and continued the conversation. i had planned to get one of his friend and make a diptych but he would not sit still AND people were looking at me like i was totally nuts.

85/365 - that's a LOT of crazy in there. by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

did i mention i am obsessed with old barns? it's true. i possibly need help. i don't know if my obsession is fueled by the concept of WHY are they still around if they are rotting to the ground or what. but they are pretty cool. i'd love to just go in and wander and goggle at the decrepit-ness of it all... but i never have time.

80/365 - mucking about by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

it was a beautiful-dreary rainy day. umbrellas begged to be twirled, paws pranced in the mud, water was spewed, and floors were mopped. (later, shhh! don't tell.)

78/365 - a box of inspiration by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

go to to get your own.

my kid and her friend got to this before i did. they were so excited to see what was in there. i was laughing hysterically because they were SO confused. an empty box? what is this madness?? then they were harassing me to get them one as well.
if you go there, you might get one of several variations such as "the future". so very cool.

76/365 - by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

much to the chagrin of the person behind me, this beautiful sunset demanded to be snapped. what can i say, i was in a parking lot, no one was behind me, at a stop sign. no one was anywhere around. of course that is when someone pops up and thinks you are a real idiot.

75/365 - quicker than a ray of light by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

Zephyr in the sky at night I wonder -
Do my tears of mourning sink beneath the sun?
She's got herself a universe gone quickly
For the call of thunder threatens everyone...

74/365 - bathroom wall writing on fence by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

it's true, i'll say again - i'm not a purist. yesterday was a bit nutty. so this photo is from the park the day before. i just thought this was hysterical.

73/365 - rings and things by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

it was a gorgeous, pseudo-spring day. (by which i mean that it looked like spring but was still freezing-ish!) the park is something that has been absent from our lives all winter long. i was surprised my kids did not rocket-fly out of the car. everything seemed extra-gorgeous - maybe it was the blues peeking out from behind non-dreary fluffy white clouds.
i guess when all is said and done, the sky is always blue in the end.

helping me take some photos for my feature in the upcoming new indie art mag "method press". if the mag intrigues you, the group is here: mag to come out in april.

71/365 - obsessed with the sky peeking through trees... by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

as much as i long for the iphone camera apps, android's are not bad. i am obsessed with lomography, clearly. must get Diana...

70/365 - a rainy day by lillithsnapped · 365 Project

i liked the contrast between the yellow bus, blue versa, and the dreary day.

Flashdrive Magazine

Carrie Clevenger, the ever-hard-at-work tamer of Crooked Fang, introduced me to Walter at Flashdrive.   I am excited to have a possible opportunity to contribute photos for his flash-fiction magazine!   I think it is right up my alley.

Stop by and check out their work - you won't regret it.

Crooked Fang has an album coming out around October.   It's going to be great.   If you will be in Austin in October, you should ask Carrie how you can get in to see the band play.   It's going to be amazing.
