Finding my focus...

A lone petal on the windshield of my car...  I always love the way the rain makes a natural, pseudo-bokeh texture.  To me, this image speaks to two emotions:  the sometimes need to focus on just one thing, and let everything else fade into the background; and the feeling of being alone, with all the baggage that tends to bring / set free, depending on your mood... 


I couldn't decide which one I liked the best: SOOC on the right; or a vintage feel added on the left.

it's so sad how sometimes the most beautiful trees bloom the shortest amount of time. however, i do love the way the petals blow around and scatter everywhere, leaving a carpet of beauty as they land. this one was on my windshield along with a few others, and i couldn't resist snapping a shot.

it was a beautiful-dreary rainy day. umbrellas begged to be twirled, paws pranced in the mud, water was spewed, and floors were mopped. (later, shhh! don't tell.)
